Final Drive Oil Change

Big Wheel
I recently changed the final drive oil and used pliers and a half dollar to get the filler cap off.  Is there a better tool I can use?  Please help!

Where did you find a half dollar?  ;D

I just use a big effin screwdriver and turn it with a channel lock pliers.  Just did it last night in fact.

My local auto-zone sells a spark plug gap tool made of somehting that resembles soft brass.  It happens to fit the cap perfectly. It fits tight, so no cap damage.  I could not find a half dollar and five dimes did not help at all.

Murph's sells machined aluminum filler caps.  I got 2: the same cap fits the crankcase oil fill and the rear drive.  They come with a little pin-wrench.  Nice!
