Heli Bars Problem

scjaws

Bicycle
Just received and installed the new Heli Bars on my 2010. The extensions on the brake and clutch lines do look funky.  They will be replaced in time.
The problem is with the left handle  bar.  There's not enough slack in  wiring bundle to move it very far.  Has that been a problem for anyone else who has installed them. The left bar hits my T480 tank bag.

take the cables around the back of the fork instead of the front and yuou will have plenty of room. The instruction sheet shows how to do this

There is also a cable grommet/stay on the left side fork about 6 inches from the top.  That has to be removed to allow more slack.
