Looks like officials at Indy have heard the suggestions for track layout improvement:

Looks like there's still one 1st gear turn, but definitely shows FIM (and the race teams) their committment to improving the race- and now that Laguna Seca is off the GP calendar for next year (http://www.business-standard.com/article/news-ians/brazil-argentina-added-to-motogp-calendar-113100300546_1.html), this is even more important.  Way to go IMS!!!  :great:
 
I see they finally announced the date for Indy -- August 10.

Our anniversary is August 11; it looks like I better start building up my good-husband tokens now.
