Is this a good price for PR2 ?

Flat-spot

Sport Tourer
I just paid $166.99 for a 190-50-17  PR2 (shipping included) from sportbiketrackgear.com (Detroit area). Previous purchase was $279 (shipping included) for both front and rear PR2's.
Are these good prices?
Also, on the subject of uneven wear, I've had 2 rear PR2's wear normally and 2 of them wear the left side too fast. If memory serves, I think both of those were the ones I had to plug. Could that be related?
I know I should replace a plugged tire as soon as possible but funds were tight and I kept speed down after the plugs.....whatever that means on a C14 !!  ::)

Thanks Russ. They also told me on the phone that they sell a huge number of Michelin tires. I'm inclined to believe that as the build date on this one is October, 2012.  Also, PR2's  (and probably 3's) seem to be sticky right out of the box. I'm not noticing any obvious mold release agent on the tread surface. I'm still careful scrubbin' 'em in though.
