It's Balaclava Time!

Hogboy

Street Cruiser
A bit under zero on the way into work this morning and I was yet again reminded how valuable ear plugs and a silk balaclava are for riding comfort and safety.

Cheap addition to your gear too.

p.s. also useful at the local 7/11 if you find yourself short of cash.

Yup me too, I've never worn mine into a 7-11 though. Just like warm waterproof gloves imo, take it with you when the weather is volatile.

I bought one last year.  That is why we had a warm winter here.  It is still in the bag.

At the Seven Eleven?  :nananana:

No such thing down here in Florida... we just don't ride that one day it goes down to 40.

Not true!  I rode twice this winter in temps under 30F.

That must have been Hogboy I saw on the news at that 7-11

Seriously though, I've got a silk scarf and it's GREAT on a chilly pre-dawn ride.  Silk is wonderful stuff.
