Here is a good use of your old tire.  Get one bag of Quickcrete, a bit of hog wire and some H2O.  See attached photo.  What is nice about this is it can easily be rolled around the shop and out of the way until it is needed.  HTH JD

Bobby, That about 100lbs of Concrete on the bottom of the tire changer.  I also use tire soap when I install a new tire.  Just take a empty jar down to your tire shop and ask them for some soap, they will give you some if they know you will be using it on a bike tire.  HTH JD
