KN filters

Chris, I don't have time to look up a specific page but if you go online with JCWhitney or BikeBandit they have online folks that can help you find one. UNI probably makes one and they are about half the cost of K&N and work great. They are oiled form and last a long time. Otherwise just call their toll-free numbers and have your credit card handy. http://www.ronayers.com/ has oem for $35.56, less then what Bike bandit had before discount if you get one. I assume you know a OEM filter can be cleaned and reused if not more then about 5 years old. Photos[/url]

I've had mine since the first service nine years ago. Clean it, dry it, oil it, ride. I think it is worth the initial first high price. And a quart of the cleaner pasts about five to six cleanings and a can of spray oil lasts even longer. I think it is actually a cheaper alternative in the long run to replacement of the paper filter. I have to agree with Bob P., the K&N are well worth the price. K&N offers a million mile guarantee. They also hold up well to cleaning and reuse, have had mine on since 5k miles, loving it.

Another plug for the UNI filters. I've had mine for around 25,000 miles and am happy with it. They work well and are less expensive than the K&N. Kind of just a choice between which you prefer.
