Lake George Unofficial Ride-in Unrally, Aug 14-16

This is the official un-notification of an Unrally in good old Lake George. I'll be in town with the family this weekend and weather permitting will be riding on Sat Aug 15th. We will gather at the Quality Inn parking lot, 57 Canada St, (518)668-3525, and depart at about 9am. I'll be arriving on Thurs evening with my brood, and enjoying a family type day on Friday, but Sat will be all about riding! The Quality Inn is conveniently located right in town and within easy stumbling distance of the Adirondack Brewpub...always a plus! It ain't cheap but nothing is in LG this time of year. Remember this is an Unrally...no banquet...no organizition...no foolin! Just come in to have some laughs and, hopefully have a nice day riding. Terry, my wife and I were camping at the King Philips campground during the July 4th weekend. I took one of the Americade routes from their map and created a GPS route. This is the 220 mile loop up to Lake Placid and back. They had a BBQ competition at Lake Placid that we enjoyed very much. Despite a little drizzle now and then, the roads, traffic, scenery were awesome. I couldn't make Americade this year but I'm glad I could spend some time up there - just gorgeous!
