Leaky Gear Change Shaft Oil Seal

Time once again for me to extract an oil seal (one I've never removed, before.)  Has anyone out there changed on these: (Gear Change Shaft Oil Seal), and if so, how?
Any advice/experience/suggestions are greatly appreciated! Thanks!
