Little rubber washer/grommet under fuel tank

Fenris38

Tricycle
Yes, I lost it! I know, I know, "be careful when removing fuel tank not to lose the little washers under the screws at the base of the fuel tank," nonetheless, I managed too. Any suggestions as to where to get one, as the dealers here can not find it on the schematics/diagrams, and I have had no luck with the hardware store route either. HELP!!! BTW, anyone looking to duplicate my feat of dexterity and mechanical aptitude, I would highly recommend against it. They are correct, it is damn hard to find these things.

Aaron, Is it the rubbers at the rear of the tank where it bolts down? If so, they are on the Bike Bandit fiche as 92075B and 92075D. Hope this helps. Eddie COG Marketing Asst. Sanford, FL 2005 Concours 1969 Triumph Bonneville AMA# 686667 COG# 7073 CDA# 0136 http://picasaweb.google.com/Eddie753

... or the same one I lost... the large ones on the front that you slip the tank onto. If they come in pairs, talk to me. I'll buy one from you. Actually this is just one of many parts I've noticed missing on my connie since I've started poking around.

It is one of the two little ones that go under the screws at the back of the tank. Thank you all so much for the info!! Rory, quit poking around, that"s how I keep finding all this stuff too!! ;)

After really scrutinizing the schematics, i still do not see it. My bike has a thin washer that goes under 92075B it has a champfered center that 92075B fits into. OR, it's a piece of p2075B that has separated over time. Not sure which. I'll try to take a picture of it tomorrow and post (the one I have left at least).

ahh.. the one I'm missing is on the other end. It sounds like the seat end rubber on yours has split.
