lousy brake bite in the wet

During my Maritimes trip my brakes degraded to a new level of suckage when it's really wet out. As in needing a 3/4-handful just to slow down. No changes/no prob in the dry. Pads are EBC HH with plenty of meat on em. I've already hit the pads and rotors (also EBC) with spray brake cleaner & a 1/2-hearted scrub with a scotchbrite pad. No improvement. I'd welcome any suggestions, thanx. 01 Conc, Mijami Floriduh OTP 06: http://tinyurl.com/2vk9o2 route map: http://tinyurl.com/4p7pmd

Yo....Paulie, at the speeds that you travel, you should probably be packing a drag chute and carry an anchor :) You'll not likely get any more stupid replies like this, but I'd contact the Honorable Larry Buck for the definitive answear on this one. He knows all....sees all IMO. Are you and Mary going to try to make the Kings Bay/Rainbow River trip?

Yeah Al, I wanna make the dive. Mary's ear is hosed, so she's a no-go unfortunately. Got any room in the casa? 01 Conc, Mijami Floriduh OTP 06: http://tinyurl.com/2vk9o2 route map: http://tinyurl.com/4p7pmd
