IF YOU GET 404 ERROR: This may be due to using a link in a post from prior to the web migration. Content was brought over from the old forum as is, but the links may be in error. If the link contains "cog-online.org" it is an old link and will not work.
Fourth try and if this doesn't do it you'll just have to trust me...I have also ridden in the Canadian Provinces of British Columbia and Alberta......even though I don't have the maps to show it. Bob Young State of Jefferson COG #5753
Want help with that. They fit in there ok best I can tell. 2003 Concours, 46K COG #6953 IBA 28004 http://mysite.verizon.net/slybones/Concours/connieMain.htm
You have to host the images in your own server, webshots or something like that. Then reference them with the "img" and "/img" commands. with square brackets around them []. This is my sig with the square brackets replaced with () so it shows the text versus actually loading the pics. -- This by default should show the pics side by side. Slybones: Thanks for the referrence. I'm still trying. I thought I could just copy from my webshots, minimize and go to Concours site, go in to preferences and hit paste and it would "record" in my preferrences. Some how, (I don't know how I got the state map to display) I managed to get it right once, but now can't seem to get the right combo to enter the Canadian Provinces. I'll keep trying..sure don't want to use up all the subject space. Bob Young State of Jefferson COG #5753
Slybones: I was given help with the maps a few months ago. Not sure where I got them. I also had help getting them in to my webshots (where they are now). I think I see how to do it, although it may take awhile. Thanks for your help, I'll try that next. Bob Young State of Jefferson COG #5753
bob, if you want send me an email at slybones@verizon.net with the text you are trying and will see if we can get it figured out. 2003 Concours, 46K COG #6953 IBA 28004 http://mysite.verizon.net/slybones/Concours/connieMain.htm
Norm: I'll try it again, but maybe tomorrow night. Thanks for your suggestions. I had it for the states, but couldn't seem to get the provinces to come up. I'm recovering from a stroke a few months back and my brain wears out pretty quick with mental stuff. I won't give up just yet. Thanks again, Bob Young State of Jefferson COG #5753
New Day, another try. lets see if I can figure this out with all the great support I've gotten. Bob Young State of Jefferson COG #5753 http://good-times.webshots.com/photo/2701633830102771270tJPeZY
Brett: Thanks for helping. I talked to "Slybones" via a phone call and he pointed me in the right direction. As usual, I had forgotten where and how I had posted the original map; then through all the posts and frustration, I got brain dead and every thing went wrong. Thanks for your help, I'll try not to monopolize a thread from now on. 9:19am 1/30/09 edited to add provinces Bob Young State of Jefferson COG #5753
monopolize until you get it. Thats what the thread is for. Besides a few more posts and you might get off that tricycle your riding. 2003 Concours, 46K COG #6953 IBA 28004 http://mysite.verizon.net/slybones/Concours/connieMain.htm
I don't need no picture to show what state I ride in. I ride and live in an altered state! ---------------------------------- South Central Area Director Email scad@cog-online.org
Ok, I'm done monopolizing this topic. It's snowing heavily; cold in the shop; and ....well.... I'm suffering from PMS! Thanks for your help, all. And your patience. Bob Young State of Jefferson COG #5753
Bob, you got them both now, now if you want them next to each other just put the strings one right after the other. CT AAD COG #7011-A 2003 Concours-Mary Ann 1995 Honda Nighthawk 750 wifes
Thanks Mr. Moderator, I'll quit while I'm ahead. Still snowing and looks like I'll have to shovel more by this p.m. Thanks again for all the help. Bob Young State of Jefferson COG #5753
