New England in Summer 2017

The weather is usually warm and dry in August here in Maine. June can be rainy, July 2nd  best month IMO.

Greenie should have mentioned September as well. Kids are back in school, crowds are gone if you want to do tourist stuff. Weather can be awesome!

Whatever time you go, be careful of the small towns and villages. The highway speeds drop from 55-50 MPH to 35-30 MPH right at the town line. The sheriff will be waiting at the line to greet you and empty your wallet.  :(

beginning of June or the very end of Aug. July and most of Aug is hot and humid with the thunderstorms. The beginning of June tends to still have kids in school.

Remember that if the weather is bad, that a good sign, as the weather is always changing.  :))

May 18-21 will be the COG NE Spring Fling Rally in southern Vermont....  there is an announcement thread already posted and details coming very soon.

I will be back and going exactly the posted 30 MPH limit when hitting the village line. Hear that Ludlow VT?  :motonoises:  :rotflmao:

I used to live in Connecticut.  First 3 weeks Sept seemed very good weather and crowd-wise.
Frequent rains started about end of September.
