New Member SW Louisiana

Hello, I just picked my new 09 C14 this afternoon and managed to get in 120 miles today. I have been riding off and on since 68 and I am now in my 60's. I gave up a RoadKing for this new machine and I love the ride. I did notice the heat on the shins, but loved the ride anyway. I also have an 02 GL1800 trike to transport by better half. Looking forward to a ride to AR this weekend with a group of wingers. I will need to get in the breakin mileage by Friday. Bill Lockhart 02 GL1800 09 C14

Welcome Bill, enjoy the new ride. I know from following the C-14 threads that sometimes the heat can be from a piece of insulation being out of place behind the fairing, might want to check that if the heat is too much. Hope you hit the break in miles for the weekend. Ride Safe !!

Welcome aboard Bill! This one will be a little different from the Harley. :) Bionic Bob COG & AMA member First C14 CDA member #0220 2008 C14 & 2003 Mean Streak
