I've been hanging around the 'other' C14 forum since Fall of 2006. Been waiting on a Blue C14 and this year is the one. :) I'm pretty much retired, 4 years in the USAF and 30 years at IBM. When I reached 30 years and 55 years old, I left. I've never regretted that decision. I've had a few Triumph Bonneville's, a 1983 Kawi Gpz1100 (made it a 1202) and then started on BMW's. I had a 1983 R100RT 60th Anniversary model and then bought a '93 K1100LT which I now have about 148K miles on. Next was a '96 R1100RT that I have 80K on. I sold the R100RT after I bought the K-bike but I missed the old Airhead so badly, I bought a '84 R100RS Last Edition. Now that I have about 300K on BMW's, I'm buying another Kawi, my 2010 C14 should be here about Dec 4th. :) Been really active on the IBMWR BMW Email list since about 1985 or so. Lots of great folks over there and I'll miss them a lot. :) Mick Tucson/Santa Paula

Welcome to COG Mike I can imagine that the 4th can't come soon enough! I guess that far south you won't have much trouble finding days that you can ride in the winter :) Perhaps you will make it to the National in WI in July LoL Steve give my regards to Caerphilly and have a good slab of cheese for me. I'm originally from creepy Crawley W Sx. Can't say I miss it much apart from my friends and family. Though the countryside in the Sussex Weld is fantastic for riding.
