I didn't properly winterize/springerize my 2004 and now that I've got my stuck gas tank key problem sorted out I've been trying to get the bike running decent again. At first it would barely stay cranked without the choke and would die if you twisted the throttle at all. I pulled the tank and dumped the old gas. Added a few gallons of new gas with some seafoam. Now I've gotten it where I can run it and I drove it about 40 miles, but it idles really high when you let off the throttle and then will slowly creep back down to where it should be. Will I (hopefully) be able to clean this issue up somehow without tearing down the carbs. Does anyone have any suggestions?
