Replacing Saddlebag Cap?

I scratched my right side saddlebag pretty good and after talking to a painter I decided to just order a replacement cap.  Have any of you replaced this?  It looks pretty simple - just a few screws and drilling a few rivets.  Any tips/ideas to make this go smoothly?

It was a pita trying to get the pop rivets to stay in place when installing them. But other than that it wasn't that hard. Remember to order a new weather strip for the new cover as well as the pop rivets. I suggest ordering more rivets than you need, in case you screw them up like I did!  ;)

Instead of rivets, I used 8-32 machine screws and elastic stop nuts on the hinge side that was originally riveted.
