I have had Pearl for a year and am ready to start fine tuning her. Would you folks please explain to me the dynamics of the two shock adjustments, air and clicks (specify from all the way in please)? I am 6' and weigh 230 lbs. I mostly commute super slab runnig GT's and while I enjoy the twisties I am too old to be extreme. Respectfully Yours! Wess Heavner COG #8010 CDA #0239

Wess, adding air serves the same purpose as spring preload on a non-air shock. More air = more preload. The Damping adjustment controls rebound damping. Position 1 (all the way in) is the lightest setting and 4 is the heaviest. I weigh 175 and usually run about 10 PSI and #2 solo and 35-40 PSI and #3 two-up or with the bags loaded. Rebound damping controls how fast the shock recovers after a bump. #1 is fastest and 4 is slowest. Hope this helps.
