Show Me MO Twisties SpotWalla location page

I created a Spotwalla "location page" for the 2017 COG National.

What is a Location Page you ask?
A location page is a map showing the last known location of multiple users. While it doesn't show each user's history, it's an easy way for event coordinators and user groups to know where their participants and members were last located as opposed to viewing each user's trip page individually.

Here's the direct link to the location page:
https://spotwalla.com/locationViewer.php?id=436  It will show registered users on the map  6/5/17 - 6/23/17.

There are a few ways users can join the page, but here's a direct link:
The join password is motwisties, it is case-sensitive.
https://spotwalla.com/join.php?a=a&id=436

Since the location page is public, please ensure everyone who chooses to join this page is aware of secure zones and how to control the types of messages that update their location on the page.

Secure zones are regions of the map where locations will not be
shown. They allow the user to safeguard their home, place of work, grandma's house or any other region where they want to maintain some privacy. More information on secure zones can be found here:
http://spotwalla.com/help/devices.php#home

If you have any questions or need any help, holler at me.

Safe travels to all. :motonoises:

This map will not show speed for those of you that would like to give this link to your SO or mother so they can follow you across the states.

Here was my request to SpotWalla:
Name: Show Me MO Twisties
Description: 2017 COG National
Timezone: Central Time
Start Date: 6/5/2017
End Date: 6/23/2017
Join Password: motwisties
Show Coordinates: yes
Show Time: yes
Show Username: yes
Show Speed: no
Map Type: Normal

Hey Gumby -

Thanks for setting this up.  Quick question, in the past we used to be able to set Spotwalla up so we could see the route traveled (breadcrumbs), not just the person's last known location.  Do you know if this feature is still available?

Thanks,

Mark

Like this one? https://spotwalla.com/tripViewer.php?id=9130532c9ccfead0b  ;D

Yes, that feature is still available. Sign-in to your SpotWalla account and click on your name in the upper right corner then go down and click on trips. It will take you to a page where you can set up a new trip to track your travels across the country. Here is the help page on trips https://spotwalla.com/help/trips.php

The 2017 National location page is tracking this morning, I turned mine on heading to work. Guess where I work this year :))
