Short answer: Yes, do it.
Longer version: I had a 2008 C14 and now a 2022 C14. The factory ECU programming seemed to be the same with the flaws.
Steve’s flash does get rid of the abruptness during shifting, going off throttle, and starting throttle.
Applying throttle from a start is more tame. Generally feels smoother. Very pleased and wish I hadn’t waited so long. Thanks Steve!
