Some friends and I are in the beginning stages of planning our annual trip to Tennessee in May. We will be based out of Sevierville. We have done the Dragon/BRP/Cherohala Skyway. Looking for some new rides to do...any suggestions? Thanks in advance! :beerchug:

Foothills parkway east, Rt on Lamar alexander parkway, State rd 73 / Little river road to Newfound gap road/441. Then you can go left for a couple miles & get lunch in Gatlinburg or continue Right & take 441 south threw the Great Smokey Mountains park to Cherokee N.C  :beerchug:

Thanks!  We actually come in (from FL) through Cherokee N.C. and though the park...great ride!  Last year when we came in, it was dark and rainy.  It was a little sketchy to say the least.

The same Hwy Number as the Dragon (123 I think) goes from Asheville up to the BRP.
Similar to the Dragon, and has very few riders.

Ride safe, Ted

That would be 181  :motonoises:

Hwy 421, Hwy 321, Hwy 91 & 133, Hwy 58 in Va., Hwy 221 in NC, Hwy 226 in NC, any roads around Brevard NC or Cashiers NC. Can't remember the route #

Of all the roads in N.C if you want tight switch backs 151 is the best of all. Drop down it off the BRP & ride to the bottom then turn around & have even more fun climbing back up  :motonoises:  :beerchug:
