I met Mike P at the Pronto luncheon after the Chicago IMS. He offered this event to any COGger who likes a scavenger hunt. He sent me the following info. He also has a PDF version of this flyer I can send you if you want.
The Amazing Challenge is a (One) day, 300 Mile,12 hour sport touring/scavenger hunt challenge. The objective is to safely visit and document 6 pre-determined waypoints and 6 bonus locations, while traveling the most or least amount of miles within our extended 12 hour ride window. Points are acquired by correctly documenting your visits with a digital camera and provided rider card.
Every Make of motorcycle and rider is welcome.
(Event is limited to 30 motorcycles)
2018 entry fees are
$95.00 one up / $145.00 two up.
What you get:
* Rally T-Shirt (per-entry)
* Rider card and Rally book
*1st, 2nd and 3rd place trophies. Also, trophies for most efficient and most miles ridden day of event
*Cash prizes 1st, 2nd & 3rd place
* Certificate for all finishers
* “Angel Award” random cash drawing for all riders completing the event “infraction free”
* Banquet awards dinner (Saturday night June 23rd)

2018. Registration opens for returning 2017 participants.

2018. Registration opens to the general public for any remaining slots.
Wednesday May 16th 2018. Registration closes.
Last day to cancel and receive refund of full entry fee.
Friday June 15th
2018. Electronic rider packet is emailed to all riders. It contains GPS coordinates’ for all 6 waypoints and their point value.

Riders begin arriving 2:00pm –7:30pm
7:30pm –9:00pm
Rider meet & greet,Pre-Ride Q&A Safety meeting (Monona Room)
(This is a Mandatory meeting for all participants, Riders receive rider cards, rider book and bonus list)

Riders depart 5:30am–7:00am
Ride window 5:30am –6:00pm
(riders enjoy Wisconsin, Iowa and Minnesota)
Riders start returning@3:00pm–5:30pm
Scoring window opens @ 4:00pm. Scoring window closes @ 5:30pm
Banquet awards dinner 7:30pm (Monona Room)
Sunday June 24th 2018 Riders depart for home.
RIDER REQUIREMENTS:
Event registration fee, copy of valid operator’s license, proof of insurance and execution of rider waiver.
Ride is 100% paved and 99% back roads.
