a fat O-Ring on the grip, only costs $1.. it works like the meister.. if you just want to "lock" the throttle on...

so do these;

Thanks for the info. but I want the Black & Milled finish ThrottleMeister. Looks like I waited too long, as the link I posted has been down for over a month now. I found one other supplier who is now "out of stock" Looks like it is now unobtainable.
  Anyone have info. on where they can be had in the Black and Milled finish? I see Kuryakyn makes something similar and much less denero, but only highly polished metal, not black. Also found Keiti brand, but kind of cheap, ugly and bulky looking.
This is the last known source on the planet...also out of stock http://www.accessoryinternational.com/product/throttle-meister-cruise-controls-heavy-kawasaki.html

Cut some stickers in similar shape as the milling, after cleaning the surface good apply the stickers and use truck bed liner or other good paint to make the rest of the end black?

While they ARE pretty and well machined, I'll never buy another one.  :-X

Installed one on my Aprilia years ago, and I NEVER use it.

Worthless on anything but TEXAS-flat roads.  :-[

I really like mine. When my throttle hand needs a rest, I set it for 5 or 6 over, which usually takes care of small hills and overpasses.

Rostra is set it and forget it.  :nananana:

I'll never buy a bike again, without electronic cruise control.

truly one of the only gripes I have with the C14.

Really? I live in Pennsylvania, and use it all the time. Did you adjust it correctly so you could easily make small speed adjustments? I've used mine for about 45,000 miles so far on trips all over the country, and it works great. I had one on my old RC51 as well and made long trips much more enjoyable. To define "long trip," on the RC51, I am talking about riding Pittsburgh to Iowa in one shot, 760 miles door to door. For the Concours, I do the same type of riding, including Miami to Pittsburgh in less than 24 hours. I think the Throttlemiester works just fine.

I settled on the KAOKO, with matched bar end weight for the Concours. Really not interested in Cruise on a motorcycle, my throttle is rarely in one position very long. I  just want a quality functional lock while slabbing back from my riding zones for a little relief after 8-10 hour days in the saddle.
KAOKO appears to be the best functioning throttle lock on the market and a little spendy but will fit the bill for my needs.

ThrottleMeister is out of business. None are being produced any more. You may be able to find new old stock, which is what I'm doing. If I find some I'll let you know.

I have tried, exhaustively without success. I wish you luck and thanks for thinking of me.
I purchased the KAOKO, read up on it. It has some distinct advantages over the ThrottleMeister (ease of operation) There are several video links available.
