Trip to the Pacific

Last October 4 of us headed to the Pacific Ocean from Texas.  It just so happened that all four of us are COG members, Dan Vacek, Doug Meister, Martin Cobb and myself.  That wasn't planned, it just turns out the best folks to ride with just happens to be COG Members.

The total trip mileage was right at 6000 miles and we took 3 weeks to do it.  During the trip we stopped in Washington state to attend the Northwest Fall Rally, and ended the trip by attending the South Central's Big Bend Ride the Twisties fall rally.

Fred:

Been to many of the places in the video, but have never been to Texas! Looks like a great ride, thanks for sharing the video.

Great vid!
Much of the scenery could fit in lots of states - and I feel like I've ridden a few of those roads.
Glad you chose to share - enjoyed!

Cool trip Fred.  Ya know I may be retired also by next year.  You need to let me know if your planning something and want a tag along.  I had no clue but would not have been able to make it anyway.

Awesome video! Thanks for sharing! My brother and I have completed the full gamut of hwy 101 (Pacific Coast) from border to border 3 times! It never gets old!

Outstanding video and hopefully the weather here will break to sunny days in a couple weeks. Our trip plans are to take in the rocky coast of Maine this year and perhaps even farther North, love to make it t Nova Scotia and seek out their National Parks along the seaside.
