This turned out reel gud! I met Tito & his Alaska-bound KLR at his crib & we found the lil shop. Not many folks thar, but a kleen (unlike mine) 01 Conc was that belonged to Jim. I gave him my feeble COG pep talk --- mebbe he'll see the lite. They had a reel nice spread of chow, and a Rocket, Sprint, Tiger, Speed 3, Bonnie, & ? to demo. I got a Tornado Red 09 Sprint http://www.triumph.co.uk/usa/Sprint%20ST_5287.aspx, IMO the most purdy skooter avail these dayz. Late as usual, the group took off while I wuz futzin w/ my gear. So I could've gone anywhere at any speed...but given the boring straight unfamiliar roads, after a few min I found the group & rode back to the shop with em. The Sprint's a nice ride, strong, smooth & very responsive, fairly decent ergos. But yer out in the wind, which I ASSume would get old after a few hrs.
