Turn stops..

What or where is the turn stop? I've noticed when I turn to the right the handlebars stop just short of the clutch hitting the 'dash' but when I turn to the left it turns until the front brake level hits the dash and depresses slightly. This is just asking for a CDA induction at low speeds... Is this correct behavior?

Nope. I'll take a SWAG it's been dropped/crashed & not repaired correctly, or has some kinda jury rig riser setup. I'd find another Conc & compare it up close & personal. 01 Conc, Mijami Floriduh OTP 06: http://tinyurl.com/2vk9o2 route map: http://tinyurl.com/4p7pmd

When turning the handlebars all the way to the R does the lever depress enough to activate the front brakes? If it does activate the brake you might try to adjust the travel of the lever via the "wheel" on the brake lever. Sounds like the bike may have been dropped and the fairing is tweaked a litte bit.

Have you tried to loosen the 2 allen head screws that lock the brake lever and master cylinder in place? Especially if you have bar risers it will need to be rotated downward slightly so it no longer hits the dash. BTDT Bob Watkins

+1 on Bob's statement. Check the alignment of the brake M/C perch. Eddie COG Marketing Asst. Sanford, FL 2005 Concours 1969 Triumph Bonneville AMA# 686667 COG# 7073 CDA# 0136 http://picasaweb.google.com/Eddie753

Not sure about the concours but on most Honda's I have owned there are fixed metal tabs that limit the turn radius, nothing adjustable for that but I would agree that the handlebar setting or brake lever rotation could be tweaked to improve that.
