I no longer have the option of choosing unread post since last or unread posts for my topics when I log onto the forums home page. Did I do something to erase this option?

I still have it, so it's not erased.  Must be some other explanation.

Did you minimize the header area?  Which way is the chevron arrow all the way to the right of the main menu bar facing - up or down?  Try clicking on it.
