Wife says she will ride a three wheeler if we can seatbelt our special needs daughter on passenger seat. Thinking about one of these kits. They don't make one for the concours though. Probably have to get an old "wing" type bike to convert. Need a pretty good "back seat" for daughter anyway. (Epilepsy and some motor control issues), but loves excitement. While I can certainly understand your desire to take your daughter out for a ride to explore her enthusiatic zeal I would not think of considering the use of a safety belt on a three-wheeler. Perhaps a Miata is in your future??? AKA "2linby" That's 2-lin-by folks! http://www.mtcvoyager.com/ talk about training wheels... i see a trike in my future, but it's still a ways off. maybe a sidecar would work for the daughter?

Saw one of these this morning, funny how I then read about it here. It puzzled me as to why the bike had 4 wheels instead of three. I don't know if I'd go this route, it's expensive too. I think a sidecar would be a better investment because you're likely going to have to do some extensive customization to make one of these work anyway. Why not put that into a sidecar? It's convertible as well since you can detach the car. Plus, with a sidecar you could take both the wife and the daughter, making it a whole family affair. Not to mention it'd add some serious storage space. They don't make a kit for the connie, so am thinking about a Venture, cavalcade, voyager or even a wing for the "trike". (had a venture royal in the 80s and dearly loved it. wife would sleep on the back on long trips) It can be removed in 5 minutes and drive away on a 2 wheeled bike. Besides, wife says she would learn to ride it. I understand the concern about "belting" anyone on a bike of any kind, but an epileptic "fit" would be a disaster for everyone concerned without some kind of restraint. A side car is under consideration, but they are very expencive too,and not as versatile. 1990 Aint she a pretty Tomato (the bike ofcourse) wedshots albums http://community.webshots.com/user/sawfiler64/albums/most-recent
