Went down in July

I do not know if this is where I should post this, but I crashed my 2012 Connie back in July. I did off duty funeral escorts on her for a little extra cash. And on July 9th 2013 I was advancing passed the procession and a driver cut through a gap in the procession and pulled right in front of me. Almost done settling with insurance and looking to get another Connie. But I think my off duty escort days are done.. I have been a motor cop for 6 years now and this was my third crash. I broke my knee cap, tore tendons in my toe, knee and injured my lower back. It could have been worse but wife has about had it..

Ouch!  I am so sorry that both you and Connie were hurt by that fool.  And it's ok that you posted it here; this place is built for commiseration.  But I just can't issue a CDA Award for this since it's clearly a crash and not a drop.

So the bright news which comes from this sad tale is that you do NOT qualify for the uncoveted Connie Droppers Anonymous Award this time!  But the road is long and the opportunity may yet arise.  So congratulations and be careful out there!

Thanks for all the kind words.. I am looking forward to another connie as soon as I get some finances in order.. I have been away from the forum for a while.. Its good to be back...

Welcome back to the forums  and I am glad to see your getting onto another Concours.
I am saddened to hear a persone would actually cut into the middle of a funeral procession.
Where is the respect? Very sad indeed.
