Just bought a c14 and would like to add a bra or other to protect my fuel tank from scratches

There are many choices, check out

They have it for the tank and the bags.

I have a roll of the 3M clear film and cut a custom piece to prevent my jacket zipper from scratching the tank.  Has worked great.  Can't even tell it there.

I took it to a car custom shop.  They put the clear material they use on cars instead of bras on the tank and down the sides.  They cut and installed it.  Now I wish I had them put it on the front fender since it is getting chips in it.  Total cost was about $70.  Rick

I bought a MagKnight color matching magnetic tank bra. Most of the time you couldn't tell it was on the bike. It was easy on and off for cleaning. The hard part is getting it nice and warm to put on. Then adjusting a few times until it's right. Then it kind of takes the shape of the tank. I really liked it. And it protects the tank nicely.

I use a targa tank bra, easy on and off for washing the bike and fits nice.
