wheel balance rotor on or off

Getting new front tire mounted at cycle shop. Should I put rotors on or leave off for balance?

Do you ride without the rotors?  Balancing with the rotors should not be an issue either with a speed balancer or a static one.

My dealer won't balance with rotors removed. I used to remove them thinking that they may ding them but nearly all of the wheels they balance have disk brakes and it is SOP to leave them on.

Ok, I was thinking they could get dinged when installing tire also. Definetly makes sense (more so now) that you want it balanced with rotors on. Thanks for responses.
