Miller, Do you have a copilot - navigator to turn the pages and hold them flat at 80 MPH/ "If it hasn't killed me yet, it's runnin out of time" COG # 8062 AMA # 1084053 ROMA or Scarlet harlot acording to my wife

Rest stops....if in fact I DO care where I end up for the evening. :) Since it's usually just me on the bike, and I really don't care where I end up, the maps stay in the tankbag until I park for the night. The rare occasion I need to be someplace, I'll remember where I'm supposed to be. To be fair, I do own a GPS...but it's so old there are still a few states that don't exist yet. ;p http://www.millerized.com I'll be in the garage

Jimmy still uses the same method that Chris Columbus used.....he closes his eyes spins around in a circle and when he stops spinning he points in the direction he is facing and that's the way he goes, kinda the same way WV designed its road system ;) Also to be fair his GPS is up to date considering he made the purchase when there were only 13 colonies :p

I was looking at updating my eMap....but until GPS come with a built in coffee maker...just not ready yet. http://www.millerized.com I'll be in the garage

I think it's a little nuts to pay over six hundred bucks for a gps and then have to pay extra to update maps. If I need maps, I plan the route in Google maps, and print out turn by turn directions... cost, a couple pieces of paper and some ink.

To each their own........I paid $59 for a lifetime (my life) of map upgrades through Garmin 3 yrs ago. It worked on my old Street Pilot III, the wife's Quest and now my ZUMO 660. The last time I checked Mapquest printed directions don't include fueling stations, eats, other points of interest and hotels while the couple pieces of paper are in the tank bag. When those pieces of paper start finding things for me I will sell my ZUMO, until then I will keep my little piece of technolgy.

Fine, I bought a new one. TomTom One 140S. Whopping $70 shipped. Happy? Now I can go get lost as well as the rest of the GPS guided crew I usually ride with. (Pat...Clyde...Paul... :) ) Actually, it'll probably go to the wife as I just picked up a Rand McNally 2010 from Wooly Whirled...$11.86 baby! (There are 3 Bushnell ONIX200CR's setting on the couch next to me...whopping $27.50 shipped for the 3.....and even factory new none of them worked. I'm thinking a 500F oven for 45 minutes should fix them and make a great webcam video.....) http://www.millerized.com I'll be in the garage

Cosco has the Garmin nuvi 500 for $199. Says its motorcycle friendly. I have been using a Nuvi tucked up under the rifle for a couple of years now with no problems. "If it hasn't killed me yet, it's runnin out of time" COG # 8062 AMA # 1084053 ROMA or Scarlet harlot acording to my wife
