So, this makes the third time I have laid my Connie down. The first time it happened was nearly a crash, but I managed to get the bike stopped before dropping it. I had gone through a bit of mud. :-[ The second time happened as I was trying to make a u-turn. :'( This time it happened as I was parking in a spot with some loose sand. My front tire started to slide and went sideways and then so did my bike. Right onto it's right side breaking the foot peg bracket. If it had been the peg itself it would have been a $10 dollar fix, but this is going to cost me $60 dollars instead. So, now I am looking into JB Welding it back together to give me a few days until I can get my hands on a new used part. I know they have a JB Weld for aluminum and I'm just hoping it'll hold up until I can get the part in. I would like to say this will never happen again, but I can't kid myself. I have a problem. I'm a Connie dropper. All I can ask for is a daily reprieve. :truce: Does this mean I have to get a sponsor or something? Maybe JB Weld will sponsor me.
