Thanks. Had never used Sport bike before . I priced RS 3s at Chaparral,Sport bikes, Motorsports and RevZilla. All were 263 a pair except RevZilla at 347. Not sure why that is.Check out either Sportbiketrackgear.com or rockymountainatvmc.com

I did. They are all running at. 263 for a set of RS 3's stock size with the exception of one or two. What ever tire you are looking at it sure pays to compare a few.check out chaparral
What spec are you using Fred ?I just got a set of Metzeler Roadtech Z8's from Revzilla for $260.
My front tire arrived today and has a date code stamp of 05/2021 so apparently Metzeler is still making these tires alongside their other Roadtech series tires. That's good news, because these are great tires at a pretty low price, and they really stick in the wet.

I got my first set off ContiMotions last year from Bike Bandit, and my second set this year from Cycle Gear. I got approximately 10K from the first set, but the second set are already tired at 7K and I am about to park my bike for the season. Once she is parked, I will break out my calculator and get the exact mileage for the current set. But in all fairness to the Continental tires, last year my Connie was new to me and I had not been riding for close to 10 years, so I my commutes were somewhat slower. This year I am well acquainted with Connie and we tend to let it hang out a bit more going up and down the mountain each a day, and I am none to shy about making a high speed pass or two when I run into a line of slower vehicles and have a safe stretch to pass on. More than once the front wheel has gotten airborne in the power band which I find astounding, and it is definitely due to the grippy rear tire. A Connie is not a lightweight machine and even more so with my bulk on her!
I've heard from others that the ContiMotions barely last 2K miles on this bike.

Guess it depends on where they're riding (track?, gnarly road surfaces like TX336?, etc) and HOW they're riding. LOL
I'll let y'all know how long these last.
