I am a big fan of having my cheap Ebay lights mounted on the front struts (Low). Came up with this idea after cracking a front fairing by using the mounting hole. These work really well Very solid with lots of fine adjustments.

n3nman said:Made them from 4130 .80 thick steel. You can probably mount most lights on them, I just like the 10W ebay spot lights. Piece of steel, torch, and something to wrap them around to get the correct curve. Went up one grip on the 2 bolts and used a locking nut on the back side of the mount that supports the light. Comes out of the fender just right with good clearance on everything.
Once they are mounted on fender support you can adjust everything with fender on. See pic.
Somewhat depends on what lights are to be mountedShredran said:That would be ahhhhhhh-mazing. They look like a better option that the super expensive Denali mounts. Please let me know your estimation ASAP...I need to mount some aux lights in the near future pending your answer. Thanks again

Thanks for the link. I have Mondo Moto MM-10’s and like the bright white pattern. When I saw these, I figured what the heck, for that price, I’ll buy them as a just in case I ever need them replacement. I got the Flood lens version, to match the MM-10’s. These guys are actually better made, a bit heavier, and the lens is slightly larger. The leads are only about 10 inches long, but should splice right into the existing Mondo-Moto switch and wiring. I’m glad I picked them up. Now for the better mount option in this thread......n3nman said:I used these:

I have them on 3 different bikes. Never had one fail (even on the bouncy end of the forks) and I think they look great. Lots of light for recognition. I use the "Spot" lights not the "Flood" lights.
Should have the brackets ready to ship by next weekend. Only 4 slots left.
Thanks, Lee
If indeed you has two left, I'll take the last one. If not, it's not a problem.n3nman said:Please send me your shipping Info in a PM. I think I will have 2 left.
Thanks you.

I will donate them for an OTP auction provided they bring in enough to make it worth while for me to ship from Germany at my own expense.

Be careful using those holes for lights. Many of us have cracked fenders from that. Ask me how i know. That is how i came to make these. Pm replied to. Thanks
If you find them let me know. I'll take em off your hands.I have a set that I never mounted (they will not bolt up to the Ohlin's forks that I have on my C14). I'll have to try to find them in the shop.
I've looked twice, but haven't located them yet... still looking...If you find them let me know. I'll take em off your hands.
Materials will be in Monday and should have 5 or 10 sets done within a week or so. Do you all want me to supply the longer bolts with them as a ready to fo set in flat black. And a #10 hole drilled for light attach? I can then post a shipped price.

Does he not make them anymore?
Just got back from a 5 day ride and my brackets and lights were waiting for me. Maybe get them on tomorrow.
I need a pair. Where did you find those?I like the brackets. Not sure how much these lights add to illuminating the way which is my objective . Not to concerned about making myself more noticeable. By
I got them from the guy who started the thread.I need a pair. Where did you find those?
This spot has been used before and depending on which light is mounted, the reflector bracket failed after a period of time. This may or may not be legal in your state, but right behind where these are mounted is a reflector and bracket. I have removed my reflector and it seems like that bracket would be a good spot to mount a light.
They are solid and a clean look.I think I bought one of your first sets. Mine are still perfect. Great and solid solution for the lights. Thanks for making them.
Sign me up. I bought a new bike so I need them.....BAD. 12 K miles on the other set with no complaints.Have had a few requests for these so I have 10 sets if anyone wants. They are $46 shipped to you CONUS. 2 mounts and 4 longer bolts.
I think I have sold more than 25 sets with no complaints. Mine have been on for over 3 years are perfect for me.
Thanks.
